Complete Title 24 Testing & Compliance Services
Pacific Airflow provides certified, third-party Title 24 testing and technical validation for commercial and residential mechanical systems, ensuring seamless California Energy Commission compliance and expedited occupancy permit sign-offs.
Mechanical Acceptance Testing (MATT)
Mandatory under California Title 24 Part 6 for commercial new construction, additions, and HVAC alterations. Performed by our RSES-certified acceptance test technicians to certify outdoor air ventilation, air economizers, demand control ventilation (DCV), and automatic shutoff controls.

ECC / HERS Testing
Certified Home Energy Rating System (HERS) and Energy Code Compliance (ECC) verification. We perform diagnostic duct leakage pressurization testing, building envelope blower door tests, airflow verification, and refrigerant charge testing required by local building departments.

QII (Quality Insulation Installation) Inspections
Title 24 Quality Insulation Installation (QII) verification for new construction and additions. Our CHEERS-certified raters inspect wall, ceiling, and floor insulation at the framing stage — before drywall — confirming full cavity fill, proper air-barrier contact, and no gaps, voids, or compression.

Blower Door Testing
Calibrated blower door testing measures whole-building envelope air leakage for Title 24 compliance on new construction and additions. We pressurize the building, record the ACH50 leakage rate against the code limit, locate the leaks if the building does not pass, and register the CF3R certificate with CHEERS.
